By using the Dam Bites mobile application or website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

Dam Bites provides restaurant listings, menus, events, loyalty points ("Harties Points"), and links to third-party channels such as WhatsApp. We do not prepare food, take payment for meals, or guarantee availability, pricing, or opening hours shown in the app — always confirm with the venue.

Accounts

You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Legal & account → Delete account in the app.

Delete your account

In the app: Profile → Legal & account → Delete account (permanent; removes Harties Points, gift cards and rewards, and profile data held in Dam Bites).

By email: If you cannot access the app, send a deletion request from your registered email to st.apps.alot@gmail.com. See also our Privacy Policy.

Loyalty, gift cards and rewards

Points, tiers, and rewards are promotional benefits subject to venue participation and programme rules shown in the app. We may change or withdraw offers with reasonable notice where practicable.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including attempting to access other users' data, scrape the API without permission, upload unlawful content, or interfere with security controls.

Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by South African law. We disclaim warranties not required by law. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted for consumer-facing mobile services.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts unless mandatory consumer protections provide otherwise.
