Partner check-in

Scanned a QR at a Harties restaurant or lodge? Earn +10 Harties Points when you check in through Dam Bites.

  1. Scan the venue QR — table tent, bill folder, bar, or entrance display at a Dam Bites Partner location.
  2. Open in Dam Bites — the link deep-opens the app using the pattern dambites://check-in/{venue-slug} (or prompts you to install the preview APK if you don't have it yet).
  3. Earn +10 Harties Points — one check-in per venue per day while signed in. Partner staff can record spend for bonus points.
  4. Stack toward vouchers — redeem 100 points for R20 off at participating Partners. See Harties Points rules.

Deep link pattern

Partner QR kits encode a URL like https://dambites.app/check-in?venue=la-joya-harties which opens the app to the venue check-in screen. You must be logged in; points accrue to your account only.

For venue staff

Partner QR kits link to your venue's check-in URL in the app. Guests must be logged in; points accrue to their account only — not transferable at the till without a redeemed voucher.
